I loved this whole series! Refreshingly unique and well written. I wish there were more books in this series. There are so many characters that I got to know and would love to know their story or see them find happiness. There seems to be huge potential here if more books and I would definitely purchase them. There is romance but it's fought for and hard won. The characters aren't sappy and suddenly in love, the reader gets to watch it evolve over time. Background characters are strong and interesting as well and all the books in the series show the complex human dynamic with elements of good and bad

This is the third book by Helen Scott Taylor that I have read. It is just amazing as the other two. The story is unique like her characters. The is much romance, action and intrigue that keep a relentless pace throughout the book(s). I am now going to look for more of Helen's books!
This is book 3 in this series and Nightshade has his own story. He wants Ruby as his mate and then she is abducted. Will Nightshade bond with Ruby or will someone else claim her? This story is an action-packed romance that includes many characters from Books 1 and 2 of this series. A very enjoyable read!
I absolutely LOVED the Magic Knot series. The characters were gorgeous, the storyline was beautiful, mystical, romantic, everything a good book should be. I was actually quite sad when I completed the series, but loved the fact the some other books made small references to The Magic Knot series characters and storyline. I would buy another of Helen Scott Taylor's books in a heat beat. Well worth the money )
If you care to read books that have a little twist to them with magical powers, etc... then you may enjoy this novel. Upfront I must warn you that there are three books by this author with the same characters. You may want to start with the Magic Knot, this one is the last in the series.
I thought these stories were all really fun. Loved all the heroes especially. I love fantasy books and these were good ones. I would recommend all three. I don't remember much, if any, profanity in them. I have read several books since them so I can't say that for sure but I hate profanity and tend to remember if there is a lot of it in a book.
I truly thought this to be a fun, captivating story of the lost, found and misunderstood. Nightshade finally meets his match and it takes both he and Ruby to be whole. Troy is also a new favorite character.
Our hero, Nightshade, literally crash lands in the heroines bed. Ruby, awakened by Nightshade, greets him with a bat and attitude. Having spent her life with her mother searching for creatures of myth, she shows no fear. This is the start of a fairy tales twist and turns to true love. I enjoyed meeting so many mythical beings. Nightshade is a good being if at first he comes across as a little self center. He wants to be loved and find a woman to be his mate and create a family together. Including his little brother in his family, shows the true person he is inside. Ruby is put through a lot and does not want to make a blood binding with Nightshade until she almost loses him.But with the childhood she had this is understandable. I did did enjoy The Ruby Kiss but felt at times parts of the book were not needed. This made it hard at times because i wanted the focus on the love developing between Nightshade and Ruby. Maybe it was my impatience making me fill this way about the story. I refused to mark it lower because i did enjoy the book and believe many others will too!!
